Our Beliefs

Throughout the denominational world, there are many confusing doctrines about man’s salvation. We find it best to go directly to the Bible and follow the teaching of Christ and the apostles regarding the Biblical plan of salvation.  Read below to find scriptures on each of these six beliefs. All are sinners and stand in need of salvation

“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God…”Romans 3:23

“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 6:23

Believe in Christ

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.” John 3:16-17

Repent of your sins

“Repent then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord…” Acts 3:19

Confess Christ before men

Acknowledge Christ before men. “Whoever acknowledges me before men, I will also acknowledge him before my Father in heaven” Matthew 10:32

“That if you confess with your mouth “Jesus is Lord” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead you will be saved” Romans 10:8-10

Be baptized for the forgiveness of sins

“Peter replied, ‘Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” Acts 2:38

Ananias speaking to Saul [Paul] “And now what are you waiting for? Get up and be baptized and wash your sins away, calling on his name.” Acts 22:16

Remain faithful to your relationship with Christ

“Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing but let us encourage one another and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” Hebrews 10:23-25

“And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who lives in you.” Romans 8:11
